Fujara player and composer Michaela Antalová and organist and improviser Štefan Szabó explore the possibilities and limitations of the mechanical organ in their collaboration, and deliberately work with sounds that we usually try to overlook: the breathing of organ pipes, the rhythmic creaks, the silence between notes. Both artists draw inspiration from folk music and experimental improvised music – two traditions from which both artists come and have been involved for a long time.
